Ethics Intro

A magazine had a picture with nothing but white people. They decided to alter the picture to show diversity. They were wrong for what they did, it was not needed to enhance the photo, it was a great picture.

Funny Captions

Mr. Kippers is sportin a nice pair of geans and a sweater. Too bad Mr. Kippers is a boy and is wearing girly geans and a sweater, becuase dogs dont sweat.

Jon Slipper is seen here busting his butt even tho there is a wet floor sign clearly posted. This is how him and his wife met, she took the picture.

Mr. Ram is here just hanging out. He was tired of all the "Hang in there baby" kitten posters so he decided to make his own.

The lines of the tables is good leading lines and repetition

Judges rate Alpine cheese in Oberstdorf, Germany. Jury members at the 5th Alpine Cheese Olympics rated over 700 kinds of Alpine cheese from all over the world.

The TV and the seats and windows are all good repetition.

Lisa Simpson appears on television screens on a new Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 after its inaugural passenger flight from Singapore to Sydney, Australia.

The blue squars are all good repatition, sort of framing going.

Performers rehearse for the opening ceremony of the 6th National City Games in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province. The sporting meet will begin on Oct. 25 in Wuhan.

Simplicity

Even tho this picture is a little busy i still thing its simple.

Leading lines

This picture shows an object with the only bit of light hitting the object, the object seems so alone in the reckage.

Rule of Thirds

This picture shows a lone man standing in the reckage of the towers, you can see him on the lower bottom left portion of the picture. You can see the towers behind him and more reckage on the right of the picture.

Simplicity

This picture is very simple, it shows a women in red holding an american flag weeping for the fallen on that fatefull day.

Framing

this picture shows a fireman looking out the frame of a building, you can see 6 different frames. the bottom middle shows the fire man and the bottom right shows the remnence of the destroyed towers.

Printing Post

Cleaned Negatives- yes i cleaned the negitives and got ride of water spots.
Loaded Negative into enlarger- The negitive was a single strip but still worked
Focused image- Image in good focus
Set aperture- The aperture is around the middle
Made test strip- the test strip showed i needed to expose for 3 seconds
Made Final Print- The final print is great, the boarder could be better and the picture is a little scratchy but all in all its a great pictrue.

Great Black and White Photographers - Preview

I picked Ansel Adams becaue this picture fills the frame, the contrast between the light hitting the dark hills is amazing, you can see many shadows. The light hitting the hills in the back are leading lines. This picture almost looks fake.

I picked this picture from Abbot, its interesting because you can see one tall building next to some other small buildings, it stands out and the contrast of the dark building on the cloudless sky is amazing.

I also picked this picture from Walker Evans, this little house stands out because of the light paint on the dark tyle and trees and sky. There is also leading lines in the center of the picture, the beams holdin up the front of the house, it leads your atention to the door.

i like this picture, it has a still statue but a moving tree, the tree looks blurry so im guessing its a windy overcast day, the statue is slightly out of focus and the backround is completly out of focus but all in all its a great picture :)
